I am still at a bit of a lose about what to say about this whole situation. “About time,” just doesn’t seem to cover it, and I’ve never seen much sense in indulging anger in public. I am supremely happy though that all of this is out in the open now, and that a serious public conversation is now going on about reconciliation and prevention of future crimes of this nature. We cannot change the past, but we can learn from it, and if we pay enough attention, prevent the bad bits from repeating.
