Friends,

Basically, it comes down to this; I’ve got too much too do. I have a family that I love, and friends that a like. I have a novel to write, and a web space to build. I have a house that is solid, but requires the investment of time. As of now, I do not have students to worry about, but that can change in the blink of an eye. I once was called to take over a class mid-term, so who knows? And I have a school to figure out how to build, all in a less then ideal economy with inflation on the rise. All of which takes time.

So with the elections over, and the Bakers married, and my MA in Public Administration finally done, I have resolved to scale back my social media time in favour of all of the above for the duration of 2013 and beyond. The blog posts should, I stress the word should, keep coming through. Facebook seems to be the most arbitrary about posting through. So please let me know if it goes silent too long.

All that said, it’s been a wicked good and bad year all rolled up into one. A new son, and new back, and new degree, and a renewed prospective on an old project. I’ll skip the summery of the bad- it’s over and should be left that way.

I’ll still answer email of course, including Facemail. Hell, I might even catch-up. No, that’s overly ambitious and too tall a tale even for me. But I will do my best to keep up with one to one communications, and posting of/for arts events on the Louisville Creative Centre group page on Facebook. But other then that, I’m gone like something metaphorical.

So at the risk of repeating myself, I’ll stop.
