The weekend project for my Eldest and I will be putting together my son’s new LEGO Millennium Falcon. This build kit comes with 1,254 pieces, 6 mini-figures, two large instruction booklets, and I imagine will take several days to put together. Eldest couldn’t stand the waiting much longer, so he was allowed yesterday to get the minifigures out of the box. Depending on how things go, we may even start tonight after tonight’s Fish Fry at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. Although as Eldest attends school there, chances are he’s going to be knackered and even possibly grounded by the time the evening is over. But even so, building will start Saturday. Pictures of the construction process will be posted later.
This video is an excellent build and display of this project, although I’d turn down the volume as the music borders on hideous.
